Instructions to candidates for BSSC CGL Typing Test
Total duration of the mock typing test is 5 minutes.
Total duration of the Actual Typing Test is 15 minutes (as per BSSC pattern).
English test text is approx. 400 words; Hindi (Mangal/Remington) text is approx. 350 words. The text will be displayed on your screen and must be typed within the given time.
Qualifying speed: 35 WPM (English) or 30 WPM (Hindi) net typing speed, with minimum 95% accuracy.
Do not use function keys. Do not type any special character / symbol except those shown in the displayed text.
Type the words exactly as shown, without errors. Use Backspace only within the current word/line to correct a mistake.
Mock test will end automatically after 5 minutes; Actual test will end automatically after 15 minutes.
Candidates must complete the test in one sitting — do not refresh or close the window mid-test.
