• Smart Student ID: a unique identifier automatically generated for your account based on your registration date.
• Device and network information: your IP address and basic device information, used for account security and to prevent misuse (e.g., duplicate registrations, fraud).
• Typing test results and history: your test scores, speed (WPM), accuracy, exam category attempted, and timestamps of your practice sessions.
• Admin account information (for administrators only): login credentials used to manage the platform.
• AI assistant interactions: if you interact with our AI study assistant ("Ask Disha"), your questions and the assistant's responses may be stored to improve your learning experience and platform quality.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as financial details, government ID numbers, or biometric data.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Create and manage your student profile and Smart Student ID.
• Save and display your typing test results and progress history.
• Show leaderboards and rankings (only your name/ID and scores are shown publicly, never private contact details).
• Improve platform features, exam-specific content, and the AI study assistant.
• Maintain platform security — detecting abuse, unauthorized access, or fraudulent registrations.
• Communicate important updates about your account or the platform, where applicable.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure, industry-standard cloud database and hosting infrastructure. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

• Encrypted, environment-variable-based access to backend services (no credentials are exposed in the app itself).
• Session-based access controls to prevent unauthorized access to accounts.
• Rate limiting and monitoring to guard against abuse.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Third-Party Services

Aman Typing Tutor is intended for competitive exam aspirants, who are generally 18 years or older per most exam eligibility criteria. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it promptly.
